The Telangana CM Revanth Reddy recently held a meeting with Emirates senior airlines officials to discuss their interest in operating their iconic Airbus A30 aircraft from Hyderabad. This meeting held to discuss the expanding airline business in the state, strengthening aviation sector and new areas of collaboration.
Telangana CM Revanth Reddy met Emirates officials to discuss operating the Airbus A380 from Hyderabad, increasing flights, and expanding MRO facilities, aiming to boost the state’s aviation sector and global connectivity.
CM Revanth Reddy Pushes for More Emirates Flights
In the meeting, CM Revanth Reddy asked the airline to increase their number of flights from Hyderabad, focusing city’s importance in the aviation and business hub. The meeting took place to celebrate 25 years of Emirates operating in India.
CM Reddy also shows the efforts being made under Telangana government to strength their aviation sector and also showed how they are developing new airports in Warangal and Adilabad. He also said that these airports will improve connectivity and create fresh opportunities for airlines to increase their services in the state.
Proposal to Expand MRO Operations in Telangana
Besides increasing the passenger flights in Telangana, CM Reddy also invited Emirates to establish and increase their MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) operations in the state. He promised that the government will give full assistance to the airline in such investments.
With this, CM has aim to strengthen Telangana’s aviation sector and also attract world’s aviation companies to launch their long-term operations in Telangana.
Emirates Responds Positively to A380 Proposal
The CM Office has said that Emirates Vice-President for India and Nepal, Mohammad Sarhan has shown positive sign in the meeting. CMO also said that the airline has shown its interest to introduce Airbus A380 services from Hyderabad. This movie will definetly, improve the international connectivity from Hyderabad.
In the meeting, CM Reddy also invited Emirates to be a part of state’s sports development initiatives. He also asked the airline to sponsor athlete training programmes at Gachibowli Sports University.
The meeting ended in a positive note, with government and Emirates agreeing to longer collaboration in aviation and sports developments.
