Daljeet Singh, a dedicated Physical Education teacher, sports coach, and social worker from Sarhali Kalan, Punjab, continues to inspire through a life devoted to discipline, service, and nation-building. Currently serving as a D.P. Teacher at National Public School, he has earned widespread recognition for nurturing young athletes while making a meaningful difference in society through humanitarian work.
Under his mentorship, numerous students have represented their schools at national and international competitions in sports such as Rugby and Basketball. Many of his trainees have also successfully joined the Punjab Police and the Indian Army, reflecting his commitment to shaping not only skilled athletes but also responsible citizens.
Beyond the sports field, Daljeet Singh has remained deeply committed to social service for nearly a decade. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he and his team worked tirelessly to provide essential support to families in need. His personal contribution includes donating blood 17 to 18 times and actively organising blood donation camps, demonstrating his belief that service to humanity is life’s greatest purpose.
His dedication has earned him several prestigious recognitions, including the International Icon Award, Best Coach of the Year 2026, Best Teacher Award 2026, and recognition in the Influencer World Record. As a proud member of Team Bir Khalsa, a team renowned for its 16 Guinness World Records, he continues to inspire through courage and teamwork. His alma mater further honoured him with the Pride of the College Award.
