For the very first time in history, Indian women’s cricket team crushed England at the iconic Lord’s stadium in London. Team India bundled up English side for a total of 186 runs. England needed 457 runs to win on lone test, and started their inning from 130/6, however, rest of the batters could only manage to collect 56 runs.
Indian bowlers impressed everyone with red ball as Sneh Rana picked up four wickets. Kranti Gaud, who claimed a fifer in the first innings, knocked down two batters. Sayali Satghare also played a chameo with two wickets.
India’s women’s cricket team secured a historic first Test victory at Lord’s against England, setting a 457-run target. Yastika Bhatia became the first woman to score a century at the venue, complemented by crucial wickets from bowlers Sneh Rana and Kranti Gaud.
The match was special for Yastika Bhatia (113) too as shed etched her name of the Lord’s record board for hitting a century. She became the first woman ever to score a century at the Lord’s.

Smriti Mandhana (83), Harmanpreet (58) and Deepti Sharma (57) also impressed the spectators with their splendid batting, as the visitors pinned a total of 285 runs in the first inning.
In reply, England Women could only manage to score 170.
Again, in the second inning, Yastika and Smriti notched half-centuries. This time, Richa Ghosh also accompanied them with an unbeaten 50. With a lead of 115 runs in first inning and 341/7 in second innings, India pilled up a mountain of 457 runs, which England team could not surpass.
