MNS leader Raj Thackeray has slammed actors Vivek Oberoi and R Madhavan over their living in Dubai and praising PM Modi and his government. While addressing pubic at Maharashtra Navnirman Vidyarthi Sena, Raj Thackeray said that if people who praise PM Modi and believe that his government has done good work then they should choose to live in India rather than abroad.

MNS leader Raj Thackeray criticized actors Vivek Oberoi and R Madhavan for residing in Dubai while praising PM Modi, questioning why they live abroad if they believe in India’s development. Thackeray also addressed CJP protests and online political abuse.

Raj Thackeray Targets Actors Over Dubai Residence

Raj Thackeray slammed Vivek Oberoi while referring his biopic on PM Modi that release in 2019, he said, “Vivek Oberoi, who made a film on Modi and played Modi’s role in it, has also gone to live in Dubai.”

He also questioned R Madhavan who lives in dubai, “R Madhavan who praised PM Modi – where does he live? He lives in Dubai. So if you love India so much, if you love PM Modi, if they believe that PM Modi is developing India, then why are they living in a foreign land? Why are they living in Dubai with their families?”

Remarks on Films and Actors

He targeted R Madhavan for working in movie like Dhurandhar and then goes back to Dubai. “They will come here, work in a government-sponsored film like ‘Dhurandhar’ and then will go back to Dubai,” he said.

Interestingly, R Madhavan and Vivek Oberoi have already shared their reason why they are shifted to Dubai. R Madhavan said that he chose to live in Dubai during COVID-19 pandemic to support his son’s professional swimming career. On the other hand, Vivek Oberoi said that he shifted to Dubai to expand his business their.

Comments on CJP Protests and Online Abuse

Raj Thackeray also criticized the CJP protest and its supporters for using the abusive language against PM Modi and his mother. He said that such language should not be used for any public figure person.

While referring to PM Modi’ appeal to forgive misguided children in the protest, Raj Thackeray said, “I agree with it. No one should use a language of such a low level. But he should tell people of his own party.”

He also alleged that BJP’s online supporters always political parties and their leaders. He says that the BJP supporters have abused leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and members of the Thackeray family.

“Even they should be asked to stop. BJP troll teams started this. As you sow, so shall you reap,” he said.
