In a shocking incident, a student opened up firing at a school in Thailand on Friday. The shooting incident claimed a teacher’s life and several students got injured. According to reports, 15 were wounded, and one is critical.
Thailand’s Poh Teck Tung Foundation, a major rescue group, said, “Officers are urgently evacuating students from the area”.
On Friday, a student fatally shot a teacher and injured 15 students at Debsirin Nonthaburi School in Nonthaburi, Thailand, subsequently killing himself as authorities contained the situation.
The shooting took place at Debsirin Nonthaburi School, a well-known secondary school of about 3,000 students. The school is located in Bang Kruai district’s Nonthaburi province, North Bangkok.

Nonthaburi Provincial Police Commander Lt. Col. Dechrapee Kongdee told media that suspected gunman killed himself too. Police has controlled the situation and shooter student has been identified.
Viral videos show a panic situation and students running out of the school, while staff members here helping to evacuate and move to a safe place.
Police, ambulance and other emergency service workers rushed to the scene with stretchers.
In one Reuters photo, one person is seen lying down on a stretcher outside an ambulance, while another is attended to by a medic.
In February, a 17-year-old stole a gun from police and opened fire at a public high school in southern Thailand, briefly taking people hostage in a two-hour attack that killed one person and injured two others.
