Udupi: Coastal Karnataka’s real estate sector is witnessing steady growth, with rising interest from local buyers, investors, and non-resident Indians. Among the professionals contributing to this evolving landscape is Uday K. Shetty, through his firm, Tulunadu Properties.
Hailing from Bommarabettu village in Hiriyadka, Uday gained early practical experience by working in construction, painting, hospitality, and marketing. These roles helped him understand land, infrastructure, and customer needs at a ground level.
Academically, he completed MA in Kannada and MA in Journalism from Mysore, strengthening his communication and documentation skills.
Uday began his professional journey in 2010 by launching Payana Travels, managing tours across India and building a wide client network. In 2020, he entered the real estate sector with Tulunadu Properties, focusing on transactions across Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, and nearby regions.
The firm deals in residential plots, agricultural land, commercial spaces, beach properties, and large land parcels. With increasing demand in coastal areas, beachside and investment properties have gained attention among buyers.
Tulunadu Properties follows a controlled system of sharing property information, limiting access to serious buyers and addressing privacy concerns of owners. The firm also emphasizes basic verification of property documents, aligning with the growing focus on transparency in the sector.

Tulunadu Properties has received a Karnataka award 2026. Uday has also been recognized with the South India Excellence Business Award, presented by Saina Nehwal, and the Atal Bharat Gaurav Samman, received on April 4, 2026.
