Who Is Sahil Parakh?
Sahil Parakh is a left-handed batter from Maharashtra who has already represented India at the Under-19 level. The youngster gained attention in junior cricket after scoring an unbeaten 109 off 75 balls against Australia Under-19 in 2024, an innings that placed him on the radar of IPL scouts and domestic selectors.
Apart from his batting, Parakh can also bowl leg-spin, giving teams an additional utility option in T20 cricket. He later featured for Maharashtra in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, where he made appearances in the domestic T20 setup.
Delhi Capitals picked Sahil Parakh for Rs 30 lakh at the IPL 2026 auction as part of their focus on investing in young Indian talent. While still early in his IPL journey, the teenager is viewed as one of the promising young batters coming through the domestic system.
