In the latest development, the NTA finally released the result of the NEET UG 2026 today (Thursday) night at around 10:30 pm. It is known that this year 11.21 lakh candidates have qualified for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH and other undergraduate medical courses. Along with the results, the agency has also released the final answer key on its official website.

The NTA released NEET UG 2026 results, qualifying 11.21 lakh candidates out of approximately 20 lakh applicants, and also provided the final answer key. Candidates from Punjab and Haryana jointly achieved the highest score of 715/720, while women constitute over 58% of the qualifiers.
Punjab and Haryana Produce Joint Toppers
Note: It must be noted that the highest score of NEET -UG 2026 was 715 out of 720, secured by candidates from both Punjab and Haryana.
According to the NTA:
- About 20 lakh candidates appeared.
- 11.21 lakh candidates qualified.
- 19 candidates scored above 700 marks.
- 138 candidates secured more than 690 marks.
- More than 58% of the qualified candidates are female.
The top-performing candidates came from several states, including Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Tamil Nadu and Telangana.

- Step 2: Usae application number to Log in and add the required credentials
- Step 3: Click on the ‘NEET UG 2026 Final Answer Key’ link available on the homepage.
- Step 4: The Final answer key will be reflected
- Step 5: Download it.
Candidates can also download their scorecards from the same website.
