The makers of India’s biggest film ever Ramayana have announced the release date and time of much awaited trailer. According to the makers the trailer will now release on 30th July, 2026 at 4:15 AM IST. This is something very unique marketing the team of Ramayana has applied to release the trailer in the early morning when most of the India will be sleeping.

India’s epic film ‘Ramayana’, directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, and Sai Pallavi, will release its trailer on July 30, 2026, following a Sony Pictures partnership. The Rs 4,000 crore film releases in two parts starting Diwali 2026.
The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol in the leading roles, and with this film aims to be the India’s biggest film ever to not only for Indians but for the overseas and targeting the international audience.
Trailer Delayed After Sony Pictures Partnership
The makers announced the date and timing on their social media platform while writing, “At the auspicious Brahma Muhurat, we welcome the dawn of Ramayana with our trailer on 30th July 2026, Thursday, at 4:15 AM IST worldwide.”

Earlier the producer of the film, Namit Malhotra addressed the social media outburst of fans for delaying the trailer after announcing it to release on 24th July first. He explained that the trailer was delayed due to their collaboration with Sony Pictures Entertainment for its worldwide release.
Producer Calls It a Landmark for Indian Cinema
While announcing the trailer release date, Producer Namit Malhotra wrote, “Today is a very special moment for our ‘Ramayana.’ My dream of taking Ramayana to the world is now a reality with our partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment.”
He also added, “In light of the above, we will be launching our trailer globally at a later date.”

He also mentioned that their partnership with Sony will make the film present in the international market like any other Hollywood movie.
Rs 4,000 Crore Epic Aims for Global Scale
This mega starring film is directed by Nitesh Tiwari who earlier has made movies like Dangal, Chillar Party, Chhichhore and Bhootnath Returns. The film will be released in two parts, the first part will be releasing on Diwali 2026 and the other part will release on Diwali 2027.
According to the producer Namit Malhotra the film is being made on the budget of 4000 crores which is highest for any film in India. However, the budget is divided in two parts, the first film has been made on 1500 crores, while the other part will be made in 2500 crores. The film has already had an massive pre release business, with Dharma Productions release the film in India with 350 crores deal, while some reports suggest that T-Series has bought the music rights in whopping 75 crores, highest ever.
