A elderly woman aged 70-years-old died in a multi-vehicle road accident in Delhi’s Narela area on Saturday morning. A Mercedes and WagonR collided head on which forced in multi-vehicle accident, police confirmed.
A 70-year-old woman, Urmila, died in a multi-vehicle accident in Delhi’s Narela on Saturday morning after a Mercedes collided head-on with a WagonR, forcing it into a parked three-wheeler.
The head on accident impact forced WagonR to hit three-wheeler loading can and 70 years old woman got stuck in between the vehicles.
70-Year-Old Woman Killed In Narela Crash
The incident took place around 8 AM near Himalayas Apartment in Mamurpur, Narela, the woman died has been identified as Urmila, wife of Satyanarayan . She was a local resident lives in Mamurpur.
According to the initial investigation, the Mercedes was coming in speed collided with Wagon-R head one, that forced the Wagon-R backward hitting a loaded three-wheeler which was parked nearby.
Urmila was caught in between the vehicles during the accident and occurred severe injured forcing her died on the spot. The driver of WagonR also suffered minor injuries and was given medical treatment.

A Bottle of Beer Inside The Mercedes
Police has now started investigation in the matter and victim Urmila’s body has been sent for post-mortem for further investigation to know what exact cause the accident. Police is also investigating the exact sequence of accident and collision.
A video captured from the accident site showed a bottle of beer inside the Mercedes, which allegedly forces to think that driver must be drunk. However, the police has not confirmed any allegations of driver was under the influence of Alcohol or not. It will only be revealed after the further investigation.
Police is also taking statements from the people who were present at the location of accident and they have also taken the statements form the people who were involved in the accident.
