A bit reflective. Forget pervy Meta glasses. British artist Freddie Yauner’s mirror mask is the accessory we want. His What I’m Looking At eyewear essentially reflects the world the wearer is facing. It lets the wearer view without being viewed. It’s art we get. Now, we can touch grass, and watch it too.
Aura-maxxing. It’s skateboarder Danny Leon’s world and we’re just living in it. The Spanish Olympic athlete timed his jump to coincide with a solar eclipse, resulting in the hardest picture of all time. This was also Europe’s first total solar eclipse in 27 years, BTW. Can he drop a tutorial next on how to be so cool?
Kicking back. Gen Z is determined to reanimate dead Y2K trends. First, low-waist pants, then velour. Now, capris or pedal-pushers. They’re the most unflattering style of the pants kingdom, designed to make short people look shorter, broad people broader and perfectly good legs seem like a design flaw. This is where we get off the nostalgia train.
