IndiGo passengers have faced disruptions on Wednesday, 19 August after a technical issue on airline’s core reservation platform. Many travellers have difficulties with flight bookings and web check-in, while the airline has said that their team is working with technology partner to restore services.

IndiGo Confirms Intermittent Reservation System Issue
IndiGo confirmed the intermittent issue with main reservation platform and says many customers can face problems accessing its website.
“We are currently experiencing intermittent issues with our core reservation platform, which may make it difficult for some customers to access our online services,” IndiGo said in its advisory.

The airline said that its technical teams were working with technology partner to resolve the disruption as soon as possible it will be corrected. IndiGo didn’t provide any specific time when the online services will be restored.
Passengers Report Booking, Web Check-In Problems
This disruption causes many key online services used by passengers before their journey even started. Some said they faced glitch on completing to web check-in, while many said facing failures when they were not able to book tickets.
IndiGo has advised passengers who needed immediate travel assistance should direct content to its Contact Centre. While the travellers who have time to board in to try accessing the website after some time.
“We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience and understanding,” the airline said.
However, the airline has not confirmed any specific time that from when the website will start working. Passengers who are travelling on Wednesday are advised to allow some more time and need assistance through IndiGo’s official support channels till the online services get restored.
