As part of this initiative, the Industries Department, Government of Bihar, exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with AIM Global Foundation at the AIM (Annual Investment Meeting) Congress 2026 in Dubai.

Bihar to Build UAE-Backed Food Park

The partnership aims to promote the development of a dedicated Food Processing Park in Bihar, supported by investments from the UAE and the wider Gulf region. The MoU exchange took place in the presence of Industries Minister Shreyasi Singh. It was signed by Kundan Kumar, Secretary, Industries Department, Government of Bihar, and H.E. Dawood Al-Shezawi, President, AIM Global Foundation. Mukul Kumar Gupta, Director, Industries, Government of Bihar, was also present on the occasion.

Bihar’s Industries Department signs an MoU with AIM Global Foundation at AIM Congress 2026 to establish an integrated agri-food and food processing cluster. The initiative aims to attract UAE and Gulf region investments, linking Bihar’s farmers to global supply chains and boosting industrial growth.

Under the MoU, AIM Global Foundation and the Bihar Industries Department will work towards developing an integrated agri-food and food processing cluster in the state. The initiative will seek to attract investments from companies, institutions and investors based in the UAE and the wider Gulf region. It aims to leverage Bihar’s agricultural strengths and position the state as an important sourcing and processing base for food supply chains serving Gulf markets.

Partnership to Open Global Opportunities for Bihar’s Farmers and Industries

Industries Minister Shreyasi Singh said the partnership with AIM Global Foundation is an important step in Bihar’s efforts to become a preferred investment destination. She said that a dedicated food processing park backed by UAE investment could help farmers and industries in Bihar connect with global supply chains and create new opportunities for industrial growth across the state.

Focus on Concrete Investment Opportunities Ahead of Rising Bihar 2026

Industries Department Secretary Kundan Kumar said the MoU provides a foundation for structured engagement between Bihar and UAE-based investors in the food processing sector. He said the department looks forward to working closely with AIM Global Foundation to identify concrete investment opportunities and take the partnership forward ahead of Rising Bihar 2026.

Bihar Steps Up Global Investment Outreach

The MoU exchange was held on the sidelines of AIM Congress 2026 in Dubai, reflecting Bihar’s growing focus on attracting global investment into its agri-food and industrial ecosystem. The proposed Food Processing Park is expected to strengthen the state’s food processing infrastructure while creating opportunities for investment, value addition and integration with international food supply chains.
