A plane belonging to Sepehran Airlines and operated by a Boeing 737 flying from Mashhad to Kermanshah in Iran had to make an emergency landing due to a technical fault related to one of its wheels.

A Sepehran Airlines Boeing 737 flight bound for Kermanshah returned to Mashhad after a wheel tire detached during takeoff, causing severe vibrations and prompting an emergency landing. The aircraft landed safely, and investigations into the technical fault are ongoing.

The plane took off from Mashhad Airport in northeastern Iran; however, during the take-off process, the pilots realized that a tire had come off one of the plane’s wheels. It was accompanied by severe vibrations, and according to some reports, the situation was so severe that the crew decided to return to Mashhad.

The aircraft landed safely at Mashhad Airport, where emergency services were supposedly awaiting them.

This particular incident happened on a flight of the airlines from Mashhad to Kermanshah.
From various accounts, it seems that the pilot informed the passengers about the technical issue that arose as a result of a tyre falling off the wheel of the aircraft.

Passengers on board were subjected to heavy vibrations on the plane as it proceeded. The decision was taken to turn back to Mashhad instead of proceeding to Kermanshah.

So far the actual chain of events that led to this technical problem with the aircraft has not been officially determined.

Passengers Describe Frightening Moments

Passengers onboard reportedly experienced moments of panic as the aircraft began shaking heavily. The vibrations were said to have affected parts of the cabin, with some overhead compartments reportedly opening during the flight. Personal belongings were also seen falling from the compartments onto seats and into the aisle.
Some passengers were reportedly hit by falling objects as the aircraft made its way back to Mashhad.
Videos shared on social media appeared to show worried passengers praying and shouting during the emergency. The footage showed the tense atmosphere inside the cabin as passengers waited for the aircraft to land.

Aircraft Lands Safely in Mashhad

Despite the reported technical problems and severe vibrations, the Boeing 737 returned to Mashhad and landed safely.

Emergency services were reportedly placed on standby at the airport as the aircraft approached. Initial reports said that no injuries were reported among the passengers or crew.

The aircraft is expected to undergo technical checks to establish what caused the incident and whether the reported tyre detachment was connected to the subsequent engine-related problem.

Iranian aviation authorities have not yet released a detailed official explanation for the incident. Investigators are expected to examine the aircraft, including its wheels, tyres and engine systems, as part of efforts to determine the exact cause of the emergency.
