The actor and professional wrestler Saurav Gurjar has been detained in Gachibowli police station in Hyderabad after a complaint registered against him for cheating and harassing the woman both physically and mentally in an alleged attempt to get married to her.
Actor and wrestler Saurav Gurjar was detained at Hyderabad’s Gachibowli police station following a woman’s complaint alleging cheating and physical/mental harassment in an alleged attempt to marry her.
It is said that he was found in Mumbai airport by the police and was brought to Hyderabad. The charges levelled against him have been made by the woman and have not been substantiated by the court yet.
How The Relationship Began
The woman stated that she made initial contact with Gurjar via Instagram in 2021 and their communication then extended via WhatsApp. The contact between them ultimately resulted in the establishment of a good relationship.
The meeting in person between both happened on December 25, 2021. As per her claim, they stayed in touch with each other when she was in the United States and carried on the relationship even after coming back to India.

It is stated by her that Gurjar promised her marriage in the future and she would have the same status as of a wife.
Woman Alleges She Left Her US Job
One of the most important aspects of the complaint is related to the allegation of a business plan. As per the woman, Gurjar had persuaded her to quit her job in the US stating that they could start a business together. As per her statement, she had done so on being assured.
The woman also added that there was trouble between them later on as the harassment allegations distracted her from her professional commitments.
The woman also stated that anytime she asked him about marriage, he used to block her calls or phone numbers.
Allegation Of Living Together
The complaint also contains details about the period during which the two allegedly lived together. The woman claimed that Gurjar stayed with her between October 2025 and March 2026. She further alleged that after this period, they continued living together in Hyderabad for some time.
According to her version of events, Gurjar later left without informing her.
Following her complaint, the Gachibowli police registered a case and began looking into the allegations. Police reportedly traced Gurjar to Mumbai and detained him at the airport before bringing him to Hyderabad for further proceedings.

Saurav Gurjar is known for his work in both professional wrestling and acting.
Television viewers may recognise him for playing Bheem in the popular mythological series Mahabharat. He later appeared in Bollywood, including a role in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra.
His background in wrestling has also been an important part of his public career, giving him recognition beyond the entertainment industry.
