A fresh case of alleged sexual violence has been reported from Begusarai in Bihar, where a young woman has accused men of holding her captive at a hotel, assaulting her and raping her at gunpoint. In her complaint, the woman alleged that she was taken to a hotel and subjected to sexual assault. She further claimed that the accused threatened her with a gun during the alleged rape.
She also alleged that the accused recorded an obscene video and later circulated it through social media platforms and WhatsApp groups.
The woman has additionally mentioned an alleged attempt on her life in her complaint. Police are investigating the allegations and examining the evidence connected with the case.
Obscene Video Allegedly Shared Online
One of the serious aspects of the case is the alleged recording and circulation of the video.

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav criticised the state government’s handling of women’s safety and alleged that people in Bihar are living in an atmosphere of insecurity.
Taking a swipe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Yadav questioned his silence over cases involving crimes against women and linked the issue to the upcoming political campaign in Bihar.
His remarks came amid a wider political debate over law and order and women’s safety in the state.
Prashant Kishor Questions Crime-Free Governance Claims
Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor also reacted to the case and targeted Bihar’s political leadership.
Kishor questioned claims of crime-free governance in the state and said that incidents involving violence against women showed that the problem had not ended.
His comments added to the political criticism surrounding the Begusarai case.
