Mumbai Police have launched an investigation and formed multiple teams to trace the men involved in the shooting. Investigators are examining CCTV footage and other evidence to identify the suspects and establish the circumstances surrounding the firing.
An alleged social media message claiming responsibility for the attack has also drawn attention. A man identifying himself as Anil Pandit, along with Harman Sandhu, reportedly claimed the incident was carried out on behalf of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis spoke to Mumbai Police Commissioner Deven Bharti and directed the police to expedite the investigation and take strict action against those responsible.
Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also condemned the firing and said attempts to spread fear would not be tolerated in Mumbai or Maharashtra. He assured members of the film industry that security would be provided to those who needed it and promised a “fitting response” to the incident.
