In the latest development, Union minister Giriraj Singh today launched a verbal attack on Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge for his shocking comment made on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s father at an event in Patna, Bihar. Criticizing the words used by Kharge, Singh alleged that the top leaders of the Congress party have become more frustrated due to repeated election failures.

Union minister Giriraj Singh criticized Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge for a remark about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s father made during an event in Patna, Bihar, attributing it to the party’s frustration from election failures.
It comes in response to an incident which occurred during the celebration of the 139th birth anniversary of the former Bihar Chief Minister, Dr. Shri Krishna Singh. In his speech, when a man interrupted him, Kharge said that “Modi will not go anywhere” to which he added, “Modi ka baap bhi jayega (even Modi’s father will go).”
The comment drew strong criticism from the leaders of the BJP.
Giriraj Singh Attacks Kharge, Rahul Gandhi
Responding to Kharge’s comment, Giriraj Singh employed harsh words against the Congress president and Rahul Gandhi. He mentioned that “Kharge Saheb, when time hangs over a man, wisdom perishes first.”
Singh further mentioned that previously he used to think that Rahul Gandhi is the only one making foolish statements, but hearing Kharge he came to know that it’s not just about Rahul Gandhi, it’s about the entire Congress leadership.
He further attacked the political conduct of Congress, talking about the Nehru-Gandhi family and political defeat of the party. He suggested the Congress leadership to concentrate on their political standing and not make personal comments on Prime Minister and his family.
His comments are in line with the criticism by BJP of Kharge after Patna incident.

‘Modi Will Remain For 30 Years,’ Says Giriraj Singh
In his response, Singh expressed confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s continued political influence and said, “Modi is here, Modi will remain, Modi will remain for 30 years.”
He also claimed that the Congress had lost much of its political support and accused the opposition party of creating disorder through its statements and actions.
Singh further said that Congress leaders should concentrate on their political responsibilities instead of using personal attacks against Modi. He warned that voters would respond to remarks targeting the Prime Minister’s family.
These statements were part of Singh’s political response to the controversy and his criticism of the Congress leadership.
Kharge’s Remark At Patna Event Sparks Political Row
The controversy began during Kharge’s address at the event commemorating Shri Krishna Singh, Bihar’s first chief minister, popularly known as Sri Babu.
According to reports, a man in the audience interrupted the Congress president by saying that Prime Minister Modi would not go anywhere. Kharge responded with the remark about Modi’s father, leading to a commotion at the venue.
Reports also alleged that Congress workers assaulted the man and removed him from the hall, although the circumstances surrounding the alleged incident were not immediately clear.
Kharge’s speech also focused on political issues, including the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. He called for the exercise to be stopped, demanded the return of ballot papers for future elections and raised allegations of electoral irregularities.
The exchange has since triggered a war of words between BJP and Congress leaders, with the BJP criticising Kharge’s language and the Congress president using the Patna event to renew his criticism of the electoral process.
