The excitement around Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming film Ramayana is growing as its release date approaches. With less than a week left for its release, the film has cleared the censor process without any cuts or modifications.

Ranbir Kapoor’s film Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, received a ‘U’ certificate from the CBFC on October 30 without cuts and has a runtime of 195 minutes, starring Ranbir Kapoor as Rama and Yash as Ravana.
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has awarded the film a ‘U’ certificate, making it suitable for audiences of all age groups. The censor certificate was handed over to the makers on 30 October.
Ramayana Passes Censor Test Without Cuts
The CBFC’s Examining Committee has reportedly passed Ramayana without asking the makers to remove or modify any scene. The board has also not suggested any changes to the film’s audio or visuals.
Interestingly, the makers have not been asked to make even the usual additional changes, such as adding anti-drug advertisements, tickers or specific title and credit modifications.
Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana Gets U Certificate
Unlike some recent films that received U/A 16+ certificates despite having no cuts, Ramayana has received a clean ‘U’ certificate.
This means the film is suitable for viewers of all ages. The certification is also an important development for a film based on one of India’s most popular epics.
Ramayana Runtime Confirmed
According to the censor certificate issued on 30 October, Ramayana has a runtime of 195 minutes.
This means the film is 3 hours and 15 minutes long, making it a lengthy theatrical experience for audiences.
