The FIR said Gautam Kumar Dak demanded that Vishnu Kumar and Laxminarayan be called before him. After they arrived, the minister allegedly abused them in front of members of the public. The complaint also alleged that objectionable language was used. Police treated the alleged actions as interference with official work.

The SHO further alleged that Gautam Kumar Dak tried to assault the constables by raising his hand. The complaint said the minister also threatened them during the exchange. The FIR claimed the threat referred to Laxminarayan’s earlier transfer from Bari Sadri Police Station. Police said the reference was used to pressure the policemen.
