The Skandagiri apartments project has 16 residential blocks, together housing 1,488 flats. Of these, 488 units are already sold in bulk to the Sainik Welfare Housing Organisation, according to a report in Deccan Herald. The remaining inventory is now on sale directly to the public through BDA’s official process.
Construction work on eight towers is almost complete, with BDA expecting to finish them by March 2027. The other towers remain under different stages of construction. Amenities such as a swimming pool, badminton court, gym and yoga centre were proposed, but BDA has not yet started work on these promised facilities.

Prices of BDA flats in this belt have risen sharply within a year, by around 25 to 50 percent. Previously, BDA had sold 2 BHK units on an adjoining parcel for Rs 52 lakh each. At that time, the rate worked out to Rs 6,451 per square foot for those apartments.
For the new Skandagiri apartments, BDA has now fixed the base rate for 1 BHK and 3 BHK units between Rs 8,000 and Rs 10,000 per square foot. Many prospective buyers feel this sharp jump goes beyond inflation and makes BDA less competitive against private builders targeting similar income groups.
