Mumbai: D Y Patil International School, Worli hosted the #NowForClimate Tree Plantation Drive on campus, bringing students into a climate-awareness initiative led by Dr. Ajeenkya D Y Patil and Ish Patil in association with Bhamla Foundation. The event was organised as part of the World Environment Day 2026 campaign and saw students participate in a tree plantation activity alongside educators, invited guests and public personalities. The initiative placed environmental responsibility within the school environment, giving students a direct way to engage with climate action beyond classroom discussion.
Dr. Ajeenkya D Y Patil, Chairman of the Ajeenkya D Y Patil Group, was present for the initiative, which reflected the Group’s continuing focus on education that extends beyond academic achievement. The event aligned with a broader approach to schooling that encourages students to participate in civic and environmental issues through practical exposure.
