Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath led cabinet has now approved an interest-free financial assistance of 20 crores rupees for Uttar Pradesh Outsourcing Service Corporation (UPKAS). This move will benefit many contractual and outsourced employees working in the government. This decision has taken after Yogi Adityanath’s government announced the plan to make transparency, uniform and technology-driven outsourcing system.

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath’s cabinet approved ₹20 crore in interest-free assistance for UPKAS to enhance the state’s outsourcing system through transparency, standardized processes, and an upcoming online portal.

UPKAS to Strengthen Outsourcing System

According to the decision taken in the cabinet, the 20 crore rupees will be provided at zero interesting. The corporation will start repaying the amount after next five years, with 2 crore to be repaid annually for next 10 years.

UP government is planning to strengthen UPKAS so that the recruitment, service conditions, and payment to outsources employees to be followed in standard process. In June CM Yogi Adityanath checked the corporation’s progress and asked the officials to make a transparent and accountable system that make security for employees.

Online Portal to Improve Transparency

The government is also planning to make a intergrated online portal for recruitment, verification, monitoring and other process of joining. The portal will make all the loop holes in the recruitment process and make sure they follow the new uniform rules for outsource agencies and outsourced employees.

This all process is being made to make the safe and secure process of recruitment of outsourced employees in Uttar Pradesh.

Other Major Cabinet Decisions

UP cabinet has also approved the Rani Laxmibai Scooty Yojana, and according to this Yojana, the female students who have top percentage from 2025-26 year and also belongs from the families whose income is less than 12 lakhs will get the scooty from government.

With this UP government has also approved multiple projects like chairs under National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, new women’s hostel in Varanasi called Basant Mahila Mahavidyalaya, and also approved the Vindhya Expressway and the Vindhya-Purvanchal Spur Link Expressway for Eastern Uttar Pradesh.
