When will Vijay take oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu? His fans have been eager to know about the date and time of the actor-turned-politician’s swearing in ceremony as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
Well, his swearing-in ceremony is likely to be held at 11.30 pm on Thursday. The event is scheduled to take place at Nehru Stadium along with 20 others who will be part of his cabinet.
TVK chief Vijay met Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar to stake his claim as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, with party sources expecting the oath ceremony around May 7 after securing 108 seats and Congress support.

However, Times Now has now reported that the event is unlikely to held tomorrow. The party is yet to confirm the development.
Earlier, TVK chief and founder Vijay met Tamil Nadu Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar to formally stake claim to form the government, just two days after his party emerged as the single largest in the Assembly but fell short of an outright majority.
The meeting took place at 3:15 pm at Lok Bhavan, where Vijay was joined by senior party leaders including “Bussy” N Anand, Aadhav Arjuna, K A Sengottaiyan, and C T Nirmal Kumar.
Earlier in the day, the Congress party announced its support for TVK following discussions with Vijay. While TVK is also seeking backing from the VCK and the Left parties-currently aligned with the DMK-their response has so far been cautious.
In the recently concluded elections, TVK secured 108 seats in the 234-member Assembly. The majority mark stands at 118. Party sources indicate that Vijay is expected to take oath as Chief Minister on May 7.
