The advance booking of tickets in Bengaluru for Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay has started with a bang. Reservation for the special shows, scheduled across the Garden City at 6 am on July 23, has started in close to 30 single screens.
Brundha, Sri Thirumala, Sri Lakshmi, Lakshmi Cinema, Swagath Shankarnag, Sampige, Pushpanjali, Manasa, Vaibhav, Navaranh, Kamakya, Vaibhav, Sri Vajreshwari Cinema, Bharathi, Siddheshwara, Sri Radhakrishna Theatre, Veerabhadreshwara Theatre, Srinivasa Theater, Mohan Cinema, Veeresh Cinemas, Mahadeshwara Cinema, Amruth Digital Cinema, Vinayaka Cinemas, Chandrodaya Cinemas, Murali Cinemas(Gokula), Aruna Theatre, Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Theatre, Mukunda, and Sri Venkateshwara Digital Cinema are the cinema halls which have started the prebooking, according to BookMyShow.

Tickets Turns Costlier
As the craze around the movie reaches a news high, single screens are cashing in on the hype by increasing the price from usually Rs 500 to Rs 1000.
In most single screens, the price hovers between Rs 1000 and Rs 1800 in Bengaluru for 6 am show. Mukunda, located in MS Nagar, is charging as high as Rs 1500 to Rs 1800 for the special premiere show.

“There is a massive hype and the fans are already charged up to get glimpse of their favourite actor on silver screen one last time, ” industry observer Trinath tells. Jana Nayagan is Vijay’s last movie as an actor as politics will be his first preference.
The movie was originally planned for release on January 9. The movie was hit by censor-related issues due to which the release was postponed at the last minute. Last week, the film got clearance from the censor board.
Announcing the release date, KVN Productions said in a social media post: “Tested by fire. Forged by time. Built for history. The tougher the battle, The louder the victory. #JanaNayaganFromJuly23 #JanaNayakuduFromJuly23 #JanNetaFromJuly23”
H Vinoth-directorial movie has Pooja Hegde playing the female lead while Bobby Deol will be seen in the negative role.
