The DMRC first announced that Janpath, Rajiv Chowk, Patel Chowk and Central Secretariat metro stations were closed.
In a social media post, DMRC said, “Due to security reasons, Janpath, Rajiv Chowk, Patel Chowk and Central Secretariat metro stations have been closed till further instructions. Interchange facility is available at Rajiv Chowk and Central Secretariat.”
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has closed Janpath, Rajiv Chowk, Patel Chowk, and Central Secretariat stations due to security reasons until further instructions, while interchange facilities remain operational at Rajiv Chowk and Central Secretariat.
In a follow up post, it said that Lok Kalyan Marg, Ramakrishna Ashram Marg, Supreme Court, Seva Teerth, Mandi House, Central Secretariat, ITO, Delhi Gate, Indraprastha, Khan Market, Jor Bagh and Shivaji Stadium.
