Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of the damage caused by storms, heavy rain, and lightning across several parts of the state. Over the past 24 hours, multiple districts have reported loss of human lives, livestock casualties, and damage to houses due to adverse weather conditions.
The Chief Minister expressed condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and directed officials to immediately visit the affected areas, assist victims, and ensure prompt release of compensation. According to official information, reports of casualties, livestock loss, and crop damage have been received from 19 districts, including Barabanki, Bahraich, Kanpur Dehat, Basti, Sambhal, Hardoi, and Unnao. Several houses have also suffered damage because of the severe weather.

CM Yogi instructed District Magistrates and concerned officials to conduct surveys on priority and coordinate with relevant departments to expedite compensation distribution. He emphasized that relief and rescue operations should be carried out without delay.
The Chief Minister also directed all District Magistrates to prioritize relief work and maintain constant monitoring of the situation. He ordered that updates related to compensation distribution, rescue operations, and other relief measures should be regularly shared through social media platforms. Additionally, all districts have been instructed to provide situation updates every three hours to ensure effective monitoring and timely response.
