The Hyderabad Traffic Police has announced on Sunday to visitors to not travel to the venue of “Shataabdi Utsav” and they urged the even has been called off. Hyderabad Traffic Police also issued advisory that unnecessary movement towards the venue will lead to traffic congestion. The event was scheduled for 26 July, 2026 and the even called off after overcrowding during Saturday’s programme which led to safety concerns.
The Shataabdi Utsav scheduled for July 26th, 2026, in Hyderabad has been cancelled by organizers due to safety concerns arising from overcrowding on July 25th; Hyderabad Traffic Police advises the public not to travel to the venue.
Event Cancelled Following Overcrowding
According to the Hyderabad Police, the even was called off after seeing a huge crowd on Saturday’s event on 25 July, after seeing the safety concerns the organisers has called off the event. However, they have not announced any other details but the authorities have said that the decision was taken after looking for public safety.
Police asked the commuters who were planning to attend the event to not travel any more for the venue as there will be no programme take place on Sunday.
Traffic Police Issue Public Advisory
Hyderabad Traffic Police requested that commuters who are mainly coming to event to leave it now, until they have any necessary work there. People have also been asked to plan their journey to area in advance as the traffic is already delaying travelling time.
“Your cooperation helps us ensure public safety and maintain smooth traffic flow,” the advisory said.
