How Prashant Kishor and Jahnavi Das Met
Jahnavi Das is originally from Guwahati, Assam, and is a trained medical doctor. She began her career in healthcare and worked on several public health initiatives.
The couple first met while working on a United Nations health programme. At the time, Jahnavi was associated with a UN-backed healthcare initiative, while Prashant Kishor was already working with the United Nations. Their professional association gradually developed into a personal relationship, and after several years, they decided to get married.
The couple has a son. Although Jahnavi stepped away from her medical career to focus on family, she has occasionally joined Prashant Kishor during election campaigns, including the Bihar Assembly election campaign.
