Iran has ruled out a meeting with US President Donald Trump. A top official made this clear recently. Mohsen Rezaei serves as a military adviser to the Supreme Leader. He says any meeting with Trump is not possible.
Trump discussed a possible meeting on June 3. He said he would feel honoured to meet the leader. He noted he might not be a favourite person. However, he stated he would be respectful if invited.

Trust and Demands
Rezaei says the peace deal is now at a standstill. He blames the current situation on Trump. Iran wants specific steps to build trust. They demand the release of $24 billion in assets. These funds are currently frozen by the US.
Iran also wants the naval blockade to stop. This blockade is in the Strait of Hormuz. Rezaei says these steps are tests of trust. He feels $24 billion is little for America. It is vital money for the Iranian people.
Threat of Expanded Conflict
Iran is not worried about a longer conflict. They have issued a warning to the United States. They may drag the war to the Indian Ocean. The country also mentioned the Red Sea and Mediterranean.
The plan includes attacking more American military bases. This would give the war a new dimension. This action will happen if the blockade remains. They want these issues resolved through a new agreement.
Relation with Israel
Rezaei also gave advice to the US President. He says Trump should act independently of Israel. Trump should focus on the American people’s interests. He must stop thinking about his own personal gains.
The adviser believes this could open new positive horizons. It requires courage to resolve these complex issues correctly. For now, the path forward remains blocked for both sides. No deal seems in sight.
