Rise and Fall Season 2 witnessed its first major controversy after an argument between Siwet Tomar and Shehzad Poonawalla crossed the line and turned physical. Siwet was subsequently removed from the show, while Swara Bhasker and Karan Patel chose to walk out in protest.

The trouble started with a growing disagreement between Siwet and Shehzad, who had earlier appeared to be on the same side in the game. Their equation changed during the voting process, with both contestants eventually targeting each other.

A physical altercation between Siwet Tomar and Shehzad Poonawalla on Rise and Fall Season 2 resulted in Siwet’s removal from the show, while Swara Bhasker and Karan Patel walked out in protest over the decision. The conflict escalated from disagreements during gameplay and voting.

Why Did Siwet Tomar Assault Shehzad Poonawalla In Rise and Fall 2

Siwet was among the names picked by the Rulers as a weak decision-maker. After being eliminated from the Ultimate Ruler race, he was given the chance to name the contestant he felt was the weakest decision-maker. He chose Shehzad.

That set the stage for another confrontation.

Siwet had also been involved in a separate change of equation with Swara. Despite previously saying that he would not speak to her, the two were later seen interacting. Shehzad questioned the sudden change, and the exchange quickly became heated.

The argument took a serious turn when Siwet grabbed Shehzad by the neck and pushed him down. Shehzad was left with injuries and torn clothes.

Since physical violence is not permitted inside the Tower, the incident resulted in disciplinary action against Siwet, ending his stint on the reality show.

The decision, however, did not find support from Swara and Karan. Both contestants felt that Shehzad had provoked Siwet and objected to the action taken against him. They eventually decided to leave the Tower along with Siwet.

The clash came on a day when the contestants were already dealing with a major power struggle. The Ultimate Ruler race was introduced in the episode, with the winner set to gain greater control over decisions in the Tower and immunity from the week’s fall.

The nomination process also exposed the shifting alliances inside the show. Shehzad picked Karan as the weakest decision-maker after Siwet named him. Karan then chose Swara, while Swara selected Raj. Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Tej Pratap Yadav and Irina Rudakova subsequently emerged as the first contenders in the race for the Ultimate Ruler position.

Before the fight, Siwet had also taken direct aim at Shehzad during the heated exchanges.

“Fattu aadmi.. peet peeche kehta hai saath dena,” Siwet said, accusing him of speaking differently behind his back. He further remarked, “Strong woh hota hai na jiske aage tum haath jodhkar aate ho ke saath dena hai mera jab Swara ke aage mein khada honga.”

He later told Shehzad and Tej Pratap Yadav, “Zaban na keemat rakha karo iski”.

However, there are several theories and versions doing rounds over the incident.

One user on X wrote, “First, everyone voted against Siwet for stopping him from becoming the Ultimate Ruler.

And when Siwet got the chance to remove another contestant, he removed Shehzad and abused him, saying, “You are a puppet. You do Hindu-Muslim. You tried to provoke me to fight with Swara Bhasker.”

Shehzad then exposed him, saying, “You were bitching about Swara Bhasker and saying, ‘I am a Rajput, so I will not speak to her.'”💯

After getting exposed, Siwet attacked Shehzad from behind and was eventually knocked out of the show.🙏.”

Another user commented, Siwet was taking with sawra About jahar thing What she said before to Rajput women’s

The third netizen explained, Siwet Tomar attacked Shehzad Poonawalla for taking a stand for Hindus.😤

Shehzad Poonawalla: “You have a tattoo of Shankar Ji on your hand, yet you still support Swara Bhasker?”

Siwet Tomar: “Religion doesn’t matter to me. I love myself more than anything. Swara Bhasker was right about Jauhar and Rajput women. After speaking to him, I came to understand this.”

Shehzad: “You don’t have a spine? You literally change your personality for these things. Shut up!”👏

Siwet Tomar then came over, started beating Shehzad Poonawalla from behind, and ripped his clothes.

After that, the Rise and Fall team kicked Siwet out of the show for getting into a physical fight with Shehzad Poonawalla. 🫡”

By the end of the episode, the power dynamics had changed considerably following Siwet’s exit and the decision by Swara and Karan to leave.

Rise and Fall Season 2, produced by Banijay Asia and hosted by Virender Sehwag, is streaming for free on Prime Video, with new episodes arriving daily at noon.
