#WATCH | Delhi: CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke says, “Once Saurav and Ashu come, we will gather, restrategize, and determine how to move forward. Given what we have witnessed over the past few days, including the illegal arrests and detentions, it is clear that there is an attempt to intimidate us. However, we will neither be intimidated nor back down. This is a long battle, and we are fully prepared for it. Hopefully, both of them will be released today. I am on my way to meet Vrinda Maam to discuss some legal matters regarding this.”

Dipke’s statement creates a lot of uncertainty about the immediate future of the campaign, as no definite plans have been announced.
Why Were Saurav Das And Ashutosh Ranka Taken Into Custody?
The latest action followed an incident on October 13, when 14 CJP members, including Das and Ranka, reached the Jantar Mantar area in Delhi.
According to the police, Jantar Mantar had been removed from the list of designated protest sites, and the area was heavily barricaded. Police alleged that the group entered through a private premises despite these restrictions.
Two separate cases were registered at the Connaught Place and Parliament Street police stations in connection with the incident. The allegations against the members will be dealt with through the legal process.
The detention of two prominent CJP members has raised questions about how the group will continue its campaign while some of its leaders remain in custody.
Dipke Was Arrested Ahead Of CJP’s ‘Lehra Do Tiranga’ Protest
Dipke was detained on Friday when he left his home in Delhi’s Jhandewalan area to participate in CJP’s ‘Lehra Do Tiranga’ protest in Connaught Place.
He was subsequently arrested on allegations that he had violated a peace bond issued to him on October 10. He was released from custody on Saturday.
The police action came as CJP sought to expand its campaign against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Dipke had described the movement as “CJP 2.0”, presenting it as a renewed phase of the group’s political campaign.
The group’s protests have drawn attention to its demand for action against the Chief Election Commissioner. However, the arrests and legal proceedings have created uncertainty over the timing and format of its next demonstrations.
