Some of the most famous romantic songs in the history of Bollywood will once again get to hear their voices singing. Two legendary singers, Udit Narayan and Kumar Sanu, who haven’t sung a song together since 19 years have come together to sing a song called ‘Suniyo Zara’ that will appear in the forthcoming Hindi movie ‘Suryaa: Ant Se Aarambh Tak,’ starring Sunny Deol.
Legendary singers Udit Narayan and Kumar Sanu reunited after 19 years to record ‘Suniyo Zara’ for Sunny Deol’s film ‘Suryaa: Ant Se Aarambh Tak’, set for release on October 27, 2026.
As per a report published in Variety India, the song will include performances by Sunny Deol and Ravi Kishan and will be used as a friendship anthem. In addition to the two veterans, another singer Anupam Amod has also been roped into the project.
The teaser of the song is expected to be released on October 26, while the full song will be out on October 27, 2026, under the Zee Music Company banner.
Udit Narayan And Kumar Sanu Reunite After 21 Years
Udit Narayan and Kumar Sanu have collaborated on a number of notable tracks in their respective careers. As per Variety India, their last collaboration was Kahaan Ho Tum in the movie No Entry in 2005.
This collaboration after Suniyo Zara has come after a gap of two decades. The track is likely to revolve around themes of friendship and unity, as Sunny Deol and Ravi Kishan will appear in the video.
The composition of the track has been done by RAAHEE, who works with Pritam’s music production house JAM8. The lyrics of the track have been penned by Priya Saraiya, wife of composer Jigar Saraiya of music composers Sachin-Jigar.
This collaboration is also special for Udit Narayan and Kumar Sanu because they have not collaborated with Sunny Deol in 24 years. This is their last collaboration with him, which was in the movie Karz: The Burden of Truth in 2002.
Suniyo Zara To Be The First Song From Sunny Deol’s Suryaa
Suniyo Zara will be the first single released from Suryaa: Ant Se Aarambh Tak, an upcoming Hindi crime thriller directed by M Padmakumar.
The song is scheduled to arrive on October 27, following the release of its teaser a day earlier. Zee Music Company is handling the release of the track.
The pairing of Udit Narayan and Kumar Sanu is likely to attract listeners who grew up with their songs, while the addition of Anupam Amod brings another voice to the friendship-themed number.
Further details about the film’s music and other songs have not been provided in the report.
Kumar Sanu Shares Glimpse Of Another Friendship Song
The reunion for Suniyo Zara comes shortly after Kumar Sanu shared a behind-the-scenes video from a separate musical collaboration with Udit Narayan.
The song, titled Tera Mera Yaarana, celebrates friendship and togetherness. Sharing a glimpse of the recording session on social media, Kumar Sanu invited listeners to enjoy the track with their friends.
The song has been written and composed by Sanjeev Chaturvedi, while its video has been directed by Abhishek Kumar Singh. The footage shows the two singers recording the track and enjoying their time together in the studio.
With both Tera Mera Yaarana and Suniyo Zara centred on friendship, the singers are returning to a theme that has long been part of Hindi film music.
