People across India can now take part in a free 14-day online yoga programme aimed at promoting healthier, stress-free and drug-free lifestyles as part of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan.
The Art of Living, in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, has launched the nationwide 14-Day Complimentary Online Yoga and Nasha Mukt Bharat Pledge Campaign from October 5 to 18, 2026.
The Art of Living partnered with the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment for a free 14-day online yoga program from October 5-18, 2026, under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, offering sessions in 5 languages to encourage drug-free lifestyles and culminating in a pledge led by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.

The initiative is open to citizens as well as government officials, employees of corporates, universities, colleges and other institutions. Participants can join live online sessions and make yoga, pranayama and meditation part of their daily routine.
Free yoga sessions in five languages
The programme will run for 14 days, with seven batches scheduled every day from Monday to Saturday. Each session will last around 50 minutes.
Participants can choose any one of the following time slots: Morning 6 am, 7 am, 8 am, 11 am and Evening: 5 pm, 6 pm, 7 pm.
The live sessions will be conducted in five languages and will include yoga asanas, pranayama, meditation and stress-management practices.
Those who are unable to register at the beginning of the campaign can still join the programme up to October 11.
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar to lead special pledge day
The 14-day campaign will culminate with a special Pledge Day, bringing participants from across the country together for a common anti-drug commitment.
H.H. Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will lead a 10-minute live guided meditation, following which participants will simultaneously take the Nasha Mukt Bharat Pledge.
The campaign is also expected to use social media and national media outreach to spread awareness about the importance of preventing substance use and encouraging healthier lifestyles.
What is Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan?
The Department of Social Justice and Empowerment (DoSJE) is the nodal department responsible for drug demand reduction initiatives in India. It is implementing the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA) as a nationwide movement focused on preventing substance use and working towards a drug-free India.
The campaign has a particular focus on children, young people and educational institutions, with awareness, sensitisation, prevention and community mobilisation forming key parts of the initiative.
To expand the reach of NMBA, the ministry has entered into MoUs with 12 prominent spiritual organisations with a significant presence across the country.

The organisations have committed to supporting NMBA through awareness programmes, sensitisation efforts, prevention initiatives and community mobilisation.
