Following the hatric success of Love Today, Dragon and Dude, Pradeep Ranganathan is back with his latest outing Love Insurance Kompany which has hit the screens on Friday.
Written and directed by Vignesh Shivan, the movie has SJ Suryah, Krithi Shetty, Seeman, Yogi Babu, Gouri G Kishan, Malavika and others in the cast. The film has Anirudh Ravichander’s music, Pradeep E. Ragav’s editing and Ravi Varman’s cinematography.
Vignesh Shivan’s film ‘Love Insurance Kompany,’ starring Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty, is set in a world where companies use algorithms to predict relationship success, questioning if love can be quantified when technology deems the main couple incompatible.
Set in a world driven by data, the film imagines “Love Insurance” companies that use algorithms to evaluate, control, and even promise successful relationships. At its core, it asks whether love can really be reduced to numbers and predictions.
Pradeep’s character, “Vibe Vassey,” falls in love with Dheema (Krithi Shetty), a woman heavily reliant on her phone. Their bond is put to the test when an app labels them incompatible, leaving them torn between trusting technology or following their hearts.

SJ Suryah appears as the quirky and unconventional CEO of the Love Insurance company, bringing both humor and insight to the story.
Through its narrative, the film reflects on modern “situationships” and our increasing dependence on technology, raising the question of whether real human connection can survive in a world ruled by algorithms.

Gowthama Buddhan: Many of #LIK scenes is quite on borderline cringe, one of the main reason why Naanum rowdy dhan worked is due to screen presence of Vijay sethupathi. Pradeep can’t carry it convincing. This kinda films is SK’s zone. I understand why wikki approached SK first.
