Star power added buzz to the Tamil Nadu election voting as Ajith Kumar, Rajinikanth, Vijay and others reached polling booths. Large crowds gathered from early morning, and Ajith drew special attention by arriving among the first celebrities, greeting supporters, and proudly displaying an inked finger.

Across Tamil Nadu, voting started early at thousands of polling stations, where long queues formed quickly. People from many backgrounds turned up with voter slips in hand. The presence of major Kollywood names attracted extra media crews and fans, turning several locations into focal points through the day.

Ajith Kumar, Rajinikanth, and Vijay were among many Kollywood stars who voted in the Tamil Nadu elections, drawing large crowds and issuing calls for responsible voting and accountability.

Ajith Kumar reached the polling station in the morning in a plain white suit. Security personnel managed tight arrangements as fans rushed to catch a glimpse. Ajith interacted briefly, posed with the ink mark, and then left, remaining one of the earliest film stars to complete voting.

Many other popular faces from the industry were spotted at different booths. Rajinikanth, Vijay, Kamal Haasan, Vikram, Simbu, Karthi, Sivakarthikeyan, Jiiva, Sasikumar, RJ Balaji, Arav, Jai, music director Anirudh Ravichander and actor Ken Karunaas all cast their votes. Their movements were closely followed by television channels and photographers stationed outside centres.

Rajinikanth arrived with daughter Soundarya, and heavy media presence briefly went out of control during the entry. Kamal Haasan came along with daughter Shruti Haasan. Sivakarthikeyan walked in with spouse Aarthy, with the “Seyon” actor seen looking after Aarthy carefully in the crowd near the gate.

Suriya’s daughter Diya voted for the first time, a key moment for the family that drew attention online. Another social media favourite resurfaced as reports recalled the clip titled “Watch Rajinikanth Takes Spiritual Break In Rishikesh, Eats Food From Pattal On Roadside”, which had earlier delighted many fans.

However, actor Jayam Ravi was spotted in Tirupati on the day of the voting.

Several actors used media interactions outside polling booths to discuss responsible voting. As reported by Filibeat, Rajinikanth urged every eligible citizen to register their vote, keeping the comment brief to avoid dispute. Sivakarthikeyan spoke of personal excitement and said this election felt more driven by social media users.

Actor Nakul requested people to think carefully before pressing the button, stressing that governments stay for five years. Nakul advised voters not to choose parties out of hatred. Nakul reminded citizens to reflect on change, accountability and the future while standing in line and inside the polling compartment.

The strong turnout seen in Tamil Nadu, combined with the presence of leading Kollywood names, underlined public interest in this election. Crowded queues, star appearances, and repeated appeals for thoughtful choices gave the day a serious yet festive air, while keeping attention fixed on governance over the next five years.
