Young cricket sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi continues to amaze fans with his fearless batting in the IPL 2026 season.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi

Fifteen-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi became the youngest cricketer to reach 1,000 T20 runs, scoring a 36-ball century in 2026 after a previous 34-ball hundred in 2025, and currently leads as the Orange Cap holder.

At just 15 years old, he has once again created history by smashing a stunning century, proving that his earlier performances were no fluke.

After making headlines last year with a record-breaking hundred at the age of 14, Suryavanshi has now followed it up with another explosive innings, showing maturity and consistency beyond his age.

From Setback to Stunning Comeback

What makes this performance even more special is the way Suryavanshi bounced back. In the previous match, he was dismissed for a golden duck, raising questions about whether the young player could handle pressure.

However, he answered all doubts in style. Walking in with confidence, he took control of the game early and never looked back. His fearless approach and aggressive shot-making quickly shifted the momentum in his team’s favour.

A 36-Ball Century That Stunned Everyone

Suryavanshi reached his half-century in just 15 balls, setting the tone for what was to come. He then accelerated further to complete his century in just 36 balls, sending the crowd into a frenzy.

His innings of 103 runs was filled with powerful hitting, including 12 sixes and 5 fours. The stadium erupted in applause as fans witnessed yet another historic knock from the teenager.

Interestingly, he had scored his first IPL century in 35 balls last season, making this another remarkable achievement in back-to-back years.

Creates History as First Uncapped Indian

With this performance, Suryavanshi has achieved a unique milestone. He has become the first uncapped Indian player to score two centuries in the IPL, a rare feat even for experienced international players.

This record highlights not just his talent, but also his ability to deliver consistently on the big stage.

Match Context: Hyderabad Wins Toss

In the match, Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and chose to field first, inviting the hosts to bat. The decision seemed reasonable at first, but Suryavanshi’s explosive innings completely changed the game’s direction.

His aggressive start put immediate pressure on the opposition bowlers, making it difficult for them to recover.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s journey in the IPL has been nothing short of extraordinary. From breaking records at 14 to dominating bowlers at 15, he is quickly becoming one of the most exciting young talents in world cricket.

If he continues this form, Suryavanshi could soon become a regular name not just in the IPL but also on the international stage. For now, fans can only watch in awe as the teenager keeps rewriting record books with every match.
