And here’s the kicker: the global version comes with a snazzier title-Dhurandhar: The Revenge (Raw and Undekha). Yep, it’s going to be uncensored. That means extra footage and dialogues that didn’t make the theatrical cut, all adding up to about three minutes of new material. For fans who felt the cinema version played it a bit safe, this could be a treat.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the blockbuster Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, which grossed ₹1,795 crore worldwide, is set for an uncensored international release on Netflix, while its Indian OTT release date remains unconfirmed by JioHotstar.
What About Indian Viewers?
Well, that’s where it gets messy again. JioHotstar still hasn’t officially announced when the film will drop in India. For a while, everyone assumed the movie would land on a single global platform. But now that Netflix has confirmed its international rollout, it’s clear that’s not the case. Cue the social media debates.
