Adani Group’s flagship company, Adani Enterprises Ltd. (AEL), and global manufacturing solutions provider Jabil Inc. have announced plans to form a strategic alliance aimed at establishing a vertically integrated artificial intelligence (AI) and data center infrastructure manufacturing platform in India.

The proposed collaboration seeks to position India as a major global hub for AI hardware manufacturing and exports by combining Adani Group’s infrastructure, green energy, logistics and data center capabilities with Jabil’s six decades of engineering and advanced manufacturing expertise.

Adani Enterprises and Jabil have announced a strategic alliance to build a vertically integrated AI hardware and data centre platform in India. The venture aims to manufacture next‑generation AI racks, servers, storage, and networking gear, along with critical components, positioning India as a major global hub for AI infrastructure and exports.

According to the companies, the alliance will focus on developing giga-scale AI rack manufacturing capacity in India to cater to the growing demand from hyperscalers, enterprise data centers and colocation providers worldwide. The platform is expected to manufacture next-generation liquid-cooled AI racks, servers, storage systems and networking equipment using advanced manufacturing technologies.

Beyond computing infrastructure, the partnership aims to create a comprehensive AI hardware ecosystem covering critical components such as Power Distribution Units (PDUs), Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs), transformers, switchgears, busbars and advanced thermal management systems. The companies said the initiative is designed to provide end-to-end hardware solutions for large-scale data center deployments.

The announcement comes at a time when India’s data center sector is witnessing rapid growth, driven by increasing AI adoption, cloud expansion and data localization requirements. Industry projections indicate that India’s data center capacity could reach between 5 GW and 8 GW by 2030, supported by substantial investments from global technology companies.

The alliance also aligns with Adani Group’s previously announced commitment of investing USD 100 billion to develop 5 GW of green-energy-powered, AI-ready hyperscale data center capacity by 2035. The conglomerate views the initiative as a key step toward building a complete AI infrastructure ecosystem in the country.

Jabil, which reported revenue of USD 29.8 billion in fiscal year 2025, has expanded its presence in the global AI infrastructure market through strategic acquisitions and investments in power management and thermal solutions technologies. The company is expected to contribute advanced engineering capabilities and hyperscale data center manufacturing expertise to the proposed venture.

The companies estimate that the broader AI infrastructure market opportunity could exceed USD 3 trillion over the next seven years as investments in AI computing continue to accelerate globally. Both organizations are currently working on operational frameworks and formal documentation required to advance the collaboration.

Commenting on the development, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani said the world is entering an “Intelligence Revolution” and that nations capable of integrating energy and computing infrastructure will shape the next phase of technological growth. He added that the alliance would help India emerge not only as a consumer of AI technologies but also as a builder and exporter of AI infrastructure.

Jabil Chief Executive Officer Mike Dastoor said the collaboration would enable the two companies to deliver scalable solutions across the AI ecosystem by combining Jabil’s engineering and manufacturing capabilities with Adani Group’s infrastructure platform. He noted that India’s skilled workforce and growing AI market make it an attractive destination for such investments.

The companies said the proposed alliance supports the government’s “Make in India” initiative by encouraging domestic manufacturing of high-value AI infrastructure products, strengthening supply chains and creating skilled employment opportunities. If finalized, the collaboration could further enhance India’s role in the global AI and digital infrastructure value chain.
