Adani Enterprises Director Pranav Adani announced on Monday that he has contributed Rs 15 crore to add 100 new vehicles to the Mumbai Police fleet, an initiative meant to bolster the city’s law enforcement and security capabilities.
Sharing the news on social media platform X, Adani said the gesture was a tribute to the officers who work tirelessly to keep Mumbai secure, describing it as an honour to support the force in this way. The Mumbai Police Foundation welcomed the gesture, acknowledging the Adani Foundation’s role in supporting police welfare and reinforcing the city’s security apparatus. As part of the engagement, Adani visited the Police Headquarters in connection with the contribution.

He called the move a major milestone for expanding India’s offshore exploration ambitions, adding that it would encourage greater industry collaboration and support the goal of building an energy-secure, developed India. Adani credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership on energy security, noting that the Cabinet’s clearance of the scheme represented a significant step toward tapping the country’s offshore potential — a view he had shared in an earlier post on X.
