The 13th season of Kiccha Sudeep-hosted hit reality show Bigg Boss Kannada has been launched on Sunday, September 6.
This season is also special for another reason. The Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam editions of Bigg Boss are premiering on the same day. Interestingly, Mohanlal, Nagarjuna and Vijay Sethupathi – the hosts of the Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil versions – make an appearance to wish Sudeep.
Bigg Boss Kannada 13, hosted by Kiccha Sudeep, premieres today on Colours Kannada, coinciding with Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam versions. Several contestants like Soundarya Shetty, Asiya Firdose, Tandav Ram, and Rachel David are rumored to join the competition.
Among the names expected to enter the house is Soundarya Shetty, popularly known as Sandy. The Mangaluru-based model and content creator gained recognition through MTV Splitsvilla 16: Pyaar Ya Paisa, where she emerged as a finalist.
Asiya Firdose is another familiar television face reportedly joining the season. The actress is known for her roles in Kannada serials including Kanyakumari and Shravani Subramanya.
Actor Tandav Ram, best known for his role as Ramanna in Jodi Hakki, is also said to be part of the line-up. He has worked in Kannada television as well as films.
Meanwhile, Rachel David is expected to bring a film-industry presence to the house. The Bengaluru-born actress has worked in both Malayalam and Kannada cinema and is known for Love Mocktail 2, among other films.
The rumoured list is equally interesting. Yashwanth, known for Nandagokula, Sushmith Jain, aka Gym Seena from Annayya, and Shravani Subramanya actor Amogh Aditya are among the names being discussed.
Gagana Bhari and Atharv S, who played Madan in Shravani Subramanya, have also been linked to the season.

Netizens can watch the grand launch live online on Jio+Hotstar online and on mobile. The episode is also being telecast on Colours Kannada, allowing audiences to follow the launch both on television and digital platforms.
