The post came amid growing criticism of Kharge’s comments, with BJP leaders and supporters targeting the Congress chief over his choice of words. The remark also sparked a wider political exchange between the two parties.
What Did Mallikarjun Kharge Say In Patna?
The controversy began on Sunday during the 139th birth anniversary celebration of Dr. Shri Krishna Singh in Patna.
While addressing the gathering, Kharge criticised Prime Minister Modi and the ideology of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), which the BJP follows.
During his speech, a person present at the event reportedly said that Modi would not go anywhere. Kharge responded, “Modi ka baap bhi jayega.”
His comment triggered a ruckus at the event and quickly became a point of political contention.

The BJP’s response has added to the ongoing political confrontation between the two parties. The controversy centres on Kharge’s language and the BJP’s decision to publicly counter his statement on social media.
Congress and BJP leaders have frequently clashed over political remarks, ideology and criticism of the Prime Minister. The latest exchange has once again brought the rivalry between the two parties into focus.
