CCTV Footage Reveals Shocking Details
According to reports, CCTV footage captured the Class 3 student repeatedly hitting the younger girl with stones. The accused student allegedly picked up a flowerpot and used it to attack her further.
The assault reportedly did not stop even after the girl lost consciousness. The accused child also allegedly dragged her for some time after the attack.
The incident has caused concern among parents and raised questions about the safety of children, especially students with special needs, within educational institutions.
Doctors Refer Girl To Chandigarh Hospital
The injured girl was initially taken to the Civil Hospital in Sector 6, Panchkula. However, doctors referred her to the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh after assessing her critical condition.
She is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital, with her condition reported to be critical.

Police Question School Management And Parents
The incident came to the attention of the Panchkula Police, following which a team visited the school to investigate.
Sector 20 SHO Yashdeep and Investigating Officer Pradeep Kumar reached the premises with other police personnel. Investigators are speaking to the school management to understand how the assault happened.
The parents of the student accused of the attack are also being questioned. Police are examining the available information to establish the sequence of events and the circumstances behind the incident.
The investigation is underway.
