The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has unveiled the roadmap for its nationwide public outreach campaign, ‘Kya Bolti Public’, which will begin on September 1, 2026. The initiative aims to engage directly with young people across the country and gather their views on key national issues.

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) launches its ‘Kya Bolti Public’ campaign on September 1, 2026, a nationwide listening tour led by Saurav Das to engage youth on education, employment, and institutional accountability, aiming to create a citizen-driven Youth Reform Charter.
Sharing the campaign agenda on X, CJP leader Saurav Das said the party’s leadership would travel across India to understand the aspirations, concerns and ideas of the youth, with the feedback helping shape a citizen-driven reform charter.
Listening Tour to Cover Every Corner of India
According to the campaign document released by the party, the ‘Kya Bolti Public’ National Listening Tour will take CJP leaders to different parts of the country to interact with young citizens.

The party said the objective is to listen to people at the grassroots level and prepare a Youth Reform Charter based on their suggestions rather than imposing a top-down agenda.
Education and Employment Top Priorities
CJP said education reform and unemployment will be the campaign’s primary focus.
The party argued that education should become more affordable and better connected to employment opportunities. It also proposed reforms aimed at aligning academic curricula and vocational training with industry needs so that students are better prepared for the job market.
Congratulations to all the newly appointed office bearers of CJP!
With 65% of India’s population under the age of 35, youth voices can no longer be ignored.
This young team will work toward changing the countrys political discourse to place youth at the center.

Push for Institutional Accountability
The campaign also places strong emphasis on institutional reforms.
In his post, Saurav Das said the party would continue to demand greater accountability from public institutions, stating that democracy cannot function effectively if institutions are not answerable for their actions.
He also raised concerns over the functioning of the Election Commission, the judiciary and the media, calling for greater transparency and accountability. These remarks reflect the views expressed by the CJP leadership.
Seeking a Broader Public Movement
Apart from policy issues, CJP said it wants to bring together various student groups, civil society organisations and social movements working on different issues.
According to the campaign document, party delegations will meet organisations and groups that supported the recent Jantar Mantar movement and invite them to work together on a broader public platform.
The document also thanked supporters who backed the movement, saying their efforts contributed to the resignation of former Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
‘Not a Political Party, But a People’s Pressure Group’
Addressing calls from supporters to formally enter electoral politics, Saurav Das said the organisation’s immediate focus remains grassroots mobilisation rather than contesting elections.
He said CJP would continue functioning as a people’s pressure group, working on democratic reforms, public awareness and youth issues before considering becoming a political party.
According to Das, meaningful change begins by engaging directly with citizens, and the organisation intends to strengthen that connection through the nationwide listening tour.
