The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has announced its expanded organisational structure as it is going to continue its nationwide campaign ‘School Thik Karo’ and prepare for a new protest in Delhi. The CJP has announced new office-bearers and zonal committees while accusing the government for failing to comply the commitments made during 25 July protest settlement.
The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) announced new organizational appointments and a September 5 protest in Delhi, accusing the government of not fulfilling July 25 settlement promises regarding FIR withdrawals and victim compensation.
CJP Announces New Organisational Teams
CJP on Tuesday announced appointments across over several organisational positions that includes join secretary, national spokesperson, and coordination teams for the North, East, and West Zones.
Rekha Sharma, Akshay Shinde, Prem Aakash, Anam Uzzama and Balakrishna Shukla have named CJP’s join secretaries, while Sudhir Sangwan and Siddhant Bhardwaj have been appointed as national spokesperson.
This move follows the formation of 14-member National Working Committee that was announced earlier this month, with Abhijeet Dipke was announced as national convenor. Saurav Das and Ashutosh Rana were announced as national con-convenor, while Aafreen Nawaz was appointed as national secretary.
“We look forward to building a stronger and more active organisation across the country,” the CJP said in its announcement on X.
September 5 March Planned In Delhi
CJP also has announced a peaceful protest march in New Delhi on 5 September. The protest will start at India Gate and will move towards Delhi Police Headquarters.
According to CJP, families of NEET students who allegedly died by suicide and people who also faced police brutality in 20 July ‘Sansad Chalo’ march will also join this march.
CJP Says July 25 Commitments Remain Unfulfilled
This announcement came after a meeting of National Working Committee, where the group stated government’s failure to fulfil promises made on 25 July.
CJP has specifically asked for withdrawal of FIRs against students and protesters and also the compensation for families of dead NEET victims. CJP also said that the government is intentionally delaying the mentioning technical issues.
“For a month now, instead of implementing what was solemnly promised, the Government has played delay games, hidden behind technicalities, and avoided giving clear commitments even before the Supreme Court of India,” the statement said.
CJP also said that government has not made any official commitment after Supreme Court asked for FIRs registered in the country, that will make them consider together all the FIRs.
