Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated several educational projects and laid the foundation stones for new facilities in the capital under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan. The projects include a new government school, a hostel for female students and high-tech training centres at three Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs).

Delhi CM Rekha Gupta inaugurated a new senior secondary school in Dwarka, a hostel for 120 female students at NSUT, and high-tech training centers at three ITIs under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, alongside laying foundation stones for new educational projects.
The initiatives aim to improve access to education and equip young people with technical skills needed for employment in modern industries.
New Government School Opens In Dwarka
Rekha Gupta inaugurated a newly constructed government co-educational senior secondary school in Dwarka Sector 16. The school will offer classes from Class 6 to Class 12 and has a capacity of around 2,000 students.
Students will have access to different academic streams, including Science and Commerce. The campus also features smart classrooms, specialised laboratories and facilities for extracurricular activities. For security, 75 cameras have been installed across the school premises.
NSUT Hostel To Accommodate 120 Female Students
The Chief Minister also inaugurated a hostel with accommodation for 120 female students at the East Campus of Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT).
Rekha Gupta said the facility would help female students coming from distant areas pursue higher education by providing them with accommodation near their place of study.
High-Tech Training Centres At Three ITIs
High-tech Centres of Excellence have been launched at ITI Jahangirpuri, Dheerpur and Narela to prepare students for changing industry requirements.
The centres will provide training in industrial automation, 3D scanning, smart energy and solar technology. The initiative is expected to give students practical exposure to modern technologies and help them develop skills required by industries.
Foundation Stones Laid For New Education Projects
During the programme, the foundation stone was laid for the GB Pant Integrated College and Polytechnic in Okhla. The foundation stones for an advanced manufacturing laboratory and a faculty office building were also laid at NSUT’s main campus.
Through these projects, the Delhi government aims to expand school education, improve accommodation facilities for female students and strengthen technical training opportunities.
The impact of the initiatives will depend on the timely completion of the projects and the number of students who eventually benefit from the new facilities.
