Dharmendra Pradhan Resigns: Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has finally stepped down from his post after 35 days of student protest led by Cockroach Janata Party (CJP). Dharmendra Pradhan shared a copy of his resignation on X, formerly known as Twitter. He informed that he has submitted his resignation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s office.

Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigned following a student protest organized by CJP.
Dharmendra Pradhan, in his resignation note, said, he tried and worked for the benefit of students and the education system for almost 4 decades. Dharmendra Pradhan added he was in pain after the NEET-UG 2026 exam was leaked. But he did not run away from his responsibilities and directed all officials to conduct re-exam at the earliest and successfully.

A day ago, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a video message on Instagram, welcoming all suggestions from students. He had stated that he is looking into the matter closely and will take all measures needed.
