Police registered an FIR on September 28 following the alleged sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl in Greater Faridabad on August 24, arresting Kunal, Yash, and Deepak; the probe includes locating an absconding accused, Prince, and investigating a Rs 10,000 forced money transfer.

Girl Allegedly Assaulted After Meeting Friend

The girl had gone to meet the 16-year-old boy after attending her tuition classes, police said. The two minors were allegedly confronted by several youths while they were together.

The youths allegedly threatened the pair and took them to a nearby dilapidated building in the Greater Faridabad area. Police said the girl was allegedly sexually assaulted inside the building.

The girl’s parents have alleged that six youths followed the two minors to the location. Police are investigating the allegation and the circumstances in which the two minors were taken inside the building.

Mother Notices Change In Girl’s Behaviour

The alleged incident was not immediately reported to the family or police. According to investigators, the girl’s mother later noticed severe signs of mental distress and spoke to her daughter.

During the conversation, the girl allegedly disclosed the sexual assault. The family subsequently approached the police and provided information about the incident.

Police received the complaint on September 28 and registered an FIR the following day, 29 September, ACP Sarai Sandeep Mor said.

Three Youths Arrested In Case

Police have arrested three accused identified as Kunal, Yash and Deepak. The three were produced before a court and sent to police custody for four days.

Another accused, Prince, has not been arrested so far. Police teams are conducting searches to locate him.

Investigators are questioning the arrested accused and examining the sequence of events leading to the alleged assault.

Rs 10,000 Transfer Claim Under Probe

Police are also looking into allegations that one of the accused forced the minors to transfer Rs 10,000 to his bank account.

Investigators are examining this allegation along with the parents’ claim that the minors were threatened and allegedly confined inside the abandoned building.

The probe is continuing, with police working to establish the exact circumstances of the alleged assault and the involvement of each accused.
