A shocking incident has come out in notice in Hyderabad where a IPS probationer has accused one of her fellow trainee officer of stalking, assaulting, intimidation, and sexual harassment. She also made allegations that the fellow trainee has shot a private moment of her during their training at Saradar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy.
An IPS probationer in Hyderabad has accused a fellow trainee officer of stalking, assault, and sexual harassment during training at the Saradar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy. A police complaint filed on July 18 led to the accused being booked under BNS and the IT Act, with investigations ongoing.
She filed a police complaint on 18 July, and now police is doing investigation in the same matter. Police has booked the accused IPS trainee under multiple acts of BNS and Information Technology Act. However, the accused is yet to respond on the allegations, and even claims have not been confirmed yet.
IPS Probationer Details Alleged Weeks of Harassment
The victim who made complaint against the fellow trainee that she faced continuous harassment from several weeks while they are getting training in SVPNPA in Hyderabad.
According to the complaint filed by her, the accused repeatedly sent her sexually explicit and abusive messages, and also publicly humiliated her before other trainees also questioned her about her personal life. She also made allegations that the she was followed possessively and was being noticed for every interaction with others.
The complaint also reveals that she was forced to tell her mobile password and private conversations to him multiple times. In one of the occasion, he took her phone and asked to her to unlock it.
Serious Allegations of Assault and Criminal Intimidation
The serious allegations came for 9 July, where she said she was forcibly taken to accused’s room without her consent. Her complaint mentions that she was allegedly forcibly dragged by her hair, threatened by knife to not leaving the room. She says during the conversation the accused threw packets of condoms at her.
Another shocking incident also mentioned in the complaint where this incident happened after few days to last one. She alleged that the accused tried to touch her forcibly without her consent. She also accused that the trainee officer secretly recorded an intimate video and later send it to her husband. She said that he tried to blackmail her through sending videos to her husband. She also said that accused tried to malign her reputation by spreading misled information to fellow trainees.
Investigation Underway
The Police has said that the case is under investigation and the legal action will only be taken after the evidence collection during the probe. At this time, the case is not judicially established. The case has become bigger because of involving two IPS probationers during the time of their training at India’s premier policy academy.
