Shashi Tharoor has mistakenly used “in his 76th birthday” instead of the grammatically correct phrase “on his 76th birthday” in his birthday wishes to PM Modi. Social media users immediately reacted to the visibly noticeable error by asking the Congress leader to correct himself. Instead of brushing it off, Shashi Tharoor made it funny by responding to one of the comments saying that “on his birthday became in his birthday.” This happens all the time, alas.”
One of his commenters replied, “Yea ‘on’ his birthday became ‘in’. This happens all the time alas,” which initially made him respond in a self-deprecating manner.
Everything turned out to be a hilarious lesson afterward.
